Colin Leipelt is an interdisciplinary producer working at the intersection of science fiction, open source, architecture, and mysticism. He graduated from Kansas City Art Institute, also spending a semester at the New York Studio Program in Tribeca. Later, he returned to KCAI as a lecturer, teaching in the incredible, but sadly, soon-to-expire Interdisciplinary Department under Julia Cole, having his mind blown on a daily basis by the students there.
Since 2006, Colin has operated equal time as a solo artist and as 1/3 of multimedia transdisciplinary collective CARNAL TORPOR. A disincarnate identity modality, CARNAL TORPOR attempts to investigate the structuring of belief by institutionalized systems, while simultaneously striving to provide an authentic, open-framework metaphysical experience for those that experience its work, using architecture, writing, performance, sound, product design, paradigm design, and music.
